Hello Terry,

 TB> Where the prob is is i tab all the say msg areas and the hit "/" and

I think if you take it step by step you'll have better results. Don't exit out 
of the global editor until you hit <Ctrl>U. Nothing is changed until you hit 
<Ctrl>U.

1. Select the areas you want to change with the tab key
2. Press "/G" to go into the global editor
3. Select yes for the option(s) you want to change
4. Make the changes you want to make
5. Press <Ctrl>U and your changes will be saved.

Don't escape out of the global editor without pressing <Ctrl>U, or nothing will 
change.
