If you want to associate a message base with a group e.g. fsxNet then yes,
use g for message bases and z for file bases..

If you as a user want to look at several bases across all groups you can use
index message reader or file index reader

You can also change list ACS to use the OR operator so s10g1|s10g2| etc..
