Mine cost me all of 10 UKP. ;-) The I-modem was even less at 3 for 20 UKP. ;-))

I've never been a great fan of USRs but they are reliable and dirt cheap on 
eBay. ;-) I used to get the best transfers with my old Zoom but, unfortunately, 
that died. :-(

Hydra doesn't seem to be at it's best in BinkleyTerm (phew, back on topic). 
ZedZap seems to work better for uni-directional transfers.
