MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06 Title: Chard Potato Curry Categories: Indian, Vegetarian Yield: 4 Servings Sunflower oil 1 bn Rainbow chard 2 ts Cumin seeds 1 md Onion; finely sliced 3 cl Garlic 400 g Can chopped tomatoes 2 md Potatoes; up to 3 2 ts Ground coriander 1 ts Chilli powder (optional) In a large saute pan add the sunflower oil then the cumin seeds, then add the sliced onion and cook on medium heat until it's soft and golden. While the onions are cooking, wash and cut the potatoes into about 1 to 1.5 cm cubes and roughly chop the garlic. Add the chopped tomatoes, garlic, potatoes, and remaining spices and a pinch of salt. Cover the pan and cook on low heat for 10 to 15 minutes. While the potatoes are cooking, wash the chard and strip the leaves from the stalks. Cut the stalks into 2 cm lengths then chop the leaves separately. Once the potatoes begin to soften, add the chard stalks and continue cooking, covered, for another 5 to 10 minutes until the potatoes are fully done.
