MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06 Title: Rice With Green Peas Categories: Japanese, Rice Yield: 1 Batch 1 1/2 c Uncooked rice 1 tb Granulated chicken stock -powder -OR- 1 Chicken bullion cube 1 3/4 c Water 1 tb Sake 1 ts Light soy sauce 1 1/2 c Fresh or frozen peas; cooked Salt Wash the rice and leave to stand in a strainer for 30 minutes before cooking. Mix the granulated chicken stock powder with a little hot water then add more water to make 1-3/4 cups. Transfer the rice to a rice cooker or saucepan, add the chicken stock, sake, and light soy sauce, and cook as usual.
