MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05 Title: Sagh Mhas (Saag Gosht) Categories: Indian Yield: 6 servings 2 lb Boneless lamb; cubed 1 lb Spinach; shredded 2 lg Onions; sliced thin 4 tb Ghee or clarified butter 2 ts Coriander seed; ground 1 ts Turmeric powder 3/4 ts Ginger powder 1/2 ts Crushed dried hot pepper 2 1/2 ts Salt 1 tb Mustard seed 1/4 c Yogurt Boiling water Brown onions in ghee. Add lamb, coriander, turmeric, ginger, hot pepper. Cook 10 minutes over medium heat. Add rest of ingredients. Cover and cook 45 minutes over low heat. Dish will have little if any sauce.
