MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06 Title: Basmati Rice Categories: Indian, Rice Yield: 4 Servings 2 c Basmati rice 10 g Butter 3 Cardamom pods 1 Clove 1 Cinnamon stick 1.5 L Water Wash the Basmati rice and rinse. Put the rice in a pot with the butter and spices, and bring the water to a boil on high heat. After the water boils turn the heat down to low heat and put on the lid. Steam for 10-11 minutes. Frequently open the lid and stir the rice thoroughly. Once the rice softens, drain the remaining water from the pot.
