MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06 Title: Fresh Peach Pie Categories: Dessert Yield: 6 Servings 1 c Sugar 3 1/2 tb Corn starch 1/2 c Water 1 tb Butter 7 Fresh peaches; up to 8, -peeled Pie shell (9"); baked Whipped cream; for topping Slivered almonds; for -garnish Combine sugar and corn starch in a saucepan. Add water and butter and bring to a boil. Mash 3 peaches and add to syrup. Reduce heat, simmer until thickened, and cool. Slice remaining peaches into pie shell, pour syrup mixture over sliced peaches, and chill. Top with whipped cream and garnish with slivered almonds.
