Weather Situation
A weak trough extends from the Kimberley to the northern Interior, whilst a
high pressure ridge to the south brings south to southwesterly winds to the
western Pilbara. The high pressure ridge will move south on Friday with the
south to southwesterly winds easing and the trough extending back into the
Pilbara from the Kimberley.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 17 October
Mostly sunny. The chance of a thunderstorm in the east in the morning and
afternoon. Winds west to northwesterly 25 to 40 km/h turning south to
southwesterly 15 to 25 km/h in the evening. Daytime maximum temperatures in the
mid to high 30s.

Forecast for Friday 18 October
Sunny. Winds southeast to southwesterly 20 to 30 km/h becoming light in the
middle of the day then becoming southeast to southwesterly 15 to 20 km/h in the
late evening. Overnight temperatures falling to between 17 and 22 with daytime
temperatures reaching the mid to high 30s.

Forecast for Saturday 19 October
Sunny. Winds southeast to southwesterly 15 to 20 km/h tending east to
southeasterly 15 to 25 km/h during the morning then becoming light during the
day. Overnight temperatures falling to between 19 and 22 with daytime
temperatures reaching around 40.

Forecast for Sunday 20 October
Mostly sunny. Slight chance of a shower in the east, near zero chance
elsewhere. The chance of a thunderstorm in the east. Winds south to
southeasterly 15 to 20 km/h tending northeast to southeasterly 15 to 25 km/h
during the morning then tending northwest to northeasterly 15 to 20 km/h during
the day. Overnight temperatures falling to the low 20s with daytime
temperatures reaching around 40.
