Weather Situation
A complex low pressure trough will continue to move east, contracting into
South Australia this morning. A new ridge will extend over southern WA in the
wake of the trough during today and Friday. Another weak cold front will brush
the southwest coast on Sunday.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 17 October
Partly cloudy. Medium chance of showers, becoming less likely in the afternoon.
Winds southwesterly 20 to 30 km/h becoming light in the evening. Daytime
maximum temperatures in the low to mid 20s.

Mostly sunny. Winds northwest to southwesterly 15 to 20 km/h tending southeast
to southwesterly during the afternoon then tending east to southeasterly during
the evening. Overnight temperatures falling to around 11 with daytime
temperatures reaching 27 to 33.

reaching 31 to 37.
