Weather Situation
A significant complex low pressure system will move over SA from the west
during today, then over the eastern states on Friday. A high pressure system
will move over SA over the weekend then move eastwards to be centred over the
Tasman Sea later on Monday.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 17 October
Partly cloudy. Very high chance of showers, most likely from late this morning.
A thunderstorm likely, possibly severe. Winds north to northeasterly 20 to 30
km/h. Daytime maximum temperatures around 30.

Cloudy. Medium chance of showers, most likely in the morning and afternoon. The
chance of a thunderstorm near the eastern border. Winds northwesterly 20 to 30
km/h turning southwesterly 30 to 45 km/h during the morning then decreasing to
20 to 30 km/h in the evening. Overnight temperatures falling to around 15 with
daytime temperatures reaching between 19 and 23.
