Weather Situation
A complex low pressure system over SA will move southeast to be over eastern
Bass Strait by Friday afternoon. A high pressure system will move in from the
west to a position south of the Bight Friday night and continue to move east
over the weekend. Winds over SA will tend northerly early next week with the
high centred over Tasmania on Monday.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 17 October
Partly cloudy. Very high chance of rain, most likely in the late afternoon and
evening. The chance of a thunderstorm. Winds north to northeasterly 20 to 30
km/h becoming light in the early afternoon then becoming northeast to
southeasterly 15 to 20 km/h in the late evening. Daytime maximum temperatures
in the mid to high 20s.

southwesterly 25 to 40 km/h in the morning. Overnight temperatures falling to
around 14 with daytime temperatures reaching around 19.
