Weather Situation
A trough is lingering over South Australia this morning while a low pressure
system over the Tasman Sea is moving east. A cold front is expected to deepen
and form a low pressure system over South Australia today, which will move
southeast while the front crosses New South Wales during Friday and Saturday.
After this a ridge of high pressure is forecast to extend across from the west,
bringing more settled conditions to the region.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 17 October
Mostly sunny. High chance of showers in the south, slight chance elsewhere. The
chance of a thunderstorm, possibly severe. Winds northeasterly 15 to 25 km/h.

afternoon. Overnight temperatures falling to between 14 and 18 with daytime
temperatures reaching 24 to 29.

Partly cloudy. Slight chance of a shower on the southern slopes in the morning

morning then becoming light during the evening. Overnight temperatures falling
to between 10 and 14 with daytime temperatures reaching 21 to 26.
