Weather Situation
A trough is lingering over South Australia this morning while a low pressure
system over the Tasman Sea is moving east. A cold front is expected to deepen
and form a low pressure system over South Australia today, which will move
southeast while the front crosses New South Wales during Friday and Saturday.
After this a ridge of high pressure is forecast to extend across from the west,
bringing more settled conditions to the region.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 17 October
Mostly sunny. Slight chance of a shower on the southern slopes, near zero
chance elsewhere. The chance of a thunderstorm. Winds east to northeasterly 15
to 20 km/h becoming light in the late afternoon then becoming east to
northeasterly 15 to 20 km/h in the evening.

temperatures falling to between 11 and 17 with daytime temperatures reaching 24
to 33.
