Weather Situation
A trough is lingering over South Australia this morning while a low pressure
system over the Tasman Sea is moving east. A cold front is expected to deepen
and form a low pressure system over South Australia today, which will move
southeast while the front crosses New South Wales during Friday and Saturday.
After this a ridge of high pressure is forecast to extend across from the west,
bringing more settled conditions to the region.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 17 October
Partly cloudy. Slight chance of a shower, becoming less likely in the late
afternoon and evening. The chance of a thunderstorm. Winds west to
southwesterly 15 to 20 km/h becoming light in the early afternoon.

evening. The chance of a thunderstorm. Light winds becoming northwesterly 20 to

daytime temperatures reaching 22 to 29.

during the day. Overnight temperatures falling to between 11 and 19 with
daytime temperatures reaching 21 to 31.

morning then tending east to southeasterly during the evening. Overnight
temperatures falling to between 5 and 15 with daytime temperatures reaching 21
to 26.
