Weather Situation
A trough is lingering over South Australia this morning while a low pressure
system over the Tasman Sea is moving east. A cold front is expected to deepen
and form a low pressure system over South Australia today, which will move
southeast while the front crosses New South Wales during Friday and Saturday.
After this a ridge of high pressure is forecast to extend across from the west,
bringing more settled conditions to the region.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 17 October
Mostly sunny. Slight chance of a shower inland later tonight. Light winds
becoming east to northeasterly 15 to 25 km/h in the middle of the day. Daytime
maximum temperatures in the low to mid 20s.

Cloudy. Very high chance of showers, most likely in the morning and afternoon.
The chance of a thunderstorm. Winds northerly 20 to 30 km/h turning west to
northwesterly 15 to 20 km/h in the evening. Overnight temperatures falling to
between 11 and 15 with daytime temperatures reaching the low to mid 20s.

to 26.
