Weather Situation
A trough is lingering over South Australia this morning while a low pressure
system over the Tasman Sea is moving east. A cold front is expected to deepen
and form a low pressure system over South Australia today, which will move
southeast while the front crosses New South Wales during Friday and Saturday.
After this a ridge of high pressure is forecast to extend across from the west,
bringing more settled conditions to the region.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 17 October
Mostly sunny. Slight chance of a shower inland later tonight. Light winds
becoming northeasterly 15 to 25 km/h in the middle of the day then tending
northerly 15 to 20 km/h in the late evening. Daytime maximum temperatures in
the low to mid 20s.

Cloudy. Very high chance of rain, most likely in the morning and afternoon. The
chance of a thunderstorm. Winds northerly 15 to 25 km/h increasing to 25 to 35
km/h in the morning then turning northwesterly 15 to 25 km/h during the
afternoon and evening. Overnight temperatures falling to between 12 and 16 with
daytime temperatures reaching the low to mid 20s.
