A spokesman for the militant group said Saturday the attack was in response to a film that insults the Prophet Muhammad, and because Britain's Prince Harry is serving at the base. Military officials say insurgents used mortars and rockets overnight against Camp Bastion in Helmand Province. Several troops were wounded in the attack. Officials say Prince Harry, who is third in line to the British throne, was never in any danger. He is deployed there as a helicopter pilot. The Taliban has vowed to kill him. Some information for this report was provided by AP and Reuters. __________________________________________________________________ [1]http://www.voanews.com/content/two_us_marines_killed_in_attack_on_af ghan_base/1508544.html References 1. http://www.voanews.com/content/two_us_marines_killed_in_attack_on_afghan_base/1508544.html
