Hurricane Matthew Threatens Haiti, Forces Guantánamo Evacuation

In the Caribbean, a Category 4 hurricane named Hurricane Matthew is
bearing down on Jamaica, Haiti and Cuba. Haiti urged residents in
coastal areas to evacuate, and there are fears for the thousands still
living in tents following the massive earthquake in 2010. In Cuba, the
U.S. military says it's airlifting 700 employees, and some family pets,
from the naval base at Guantánamo Bay, although there are no plans to
evacuate the 61 prisoners detained there.
