A port of Emacs 18.56 is available for the Macintosh from FTP.CS.CORNELL.EDU in /pub/parmet and from RASCAL.ICS.UTEXAS.EDU in /mac/util files Emacs-1.12d.sea.bin and Emacs-1.12d_info.sea.bin authored by parmet@cs.cornell.edu, it requires a 68020 or better with, at least, 2MB of free RAM after loading the system (i.e. don't even try if you don't have 4MB RAM or more) Basic installation requires about 3MB of free disk space; add another 1.3MB to the disk requirement for optional docs -- werner@cs.utexas.edu | ..!uunet!cs.utexas.edu!werner | werner@UTXVM.bitnet "Free Advice and Opinions -- Refunds Available" --> Still mad about Tiananmen Square, but Bosnia has me fuming also !!! <-- .
