Brazil: the political regime calls the Indians terrorists Source: (https://bit.ly/3vkO2Gp) In Brazil, indigenous protestors have invaded the perimeter of the Supreme Court to demand the release of arrested Chief Serere. The leftist Lula camp called protestors "terrorists" and prepared to crack down on the largest pro-democracy protests in world history. Dozens of indios broke through barriers around the Supreme Court building in Brasilia Dec. 25 to demand the release of tribal leader Jose Acacio Serere Xavante, who was arrested Monday, Dec. 12 for the crime of protesting, and held without charges. https://t.co/iNdd4cpoTd The protesting indios told police they were there to protest the arrest of Chief Serere. SWAT teams and Federal Police were deployed. After about two hours, the indigenous protestors left the area outside the Supreme Court, but remained in the square outside, protesting. The leftist Lula camp is trying to paint the pro-Bolsonaro protestors as terrorists to prepare to crack down. On Dec. 24 at7:30 am, Military Police and fire department were called to investigate a suspicious object on the access road to Brasilia airport. The object was removed without detonation, Jornal de Cidade reports. Reuters claims police "detonated an explosive device and arrested a suspect they accused of links to the Brasilia camp." Lula's incoming justice minister Flavio Dino called the pro-democracy movement "incubators for terrorists" on Dec. 25: "Yesterday's serious events in Brasilia prove that the so-called 'patriotic' camps have become incubators for terrorists," tweeted Flavio Dino, the incoming minister. "There will be no amnesty for terrorists, their supporters and financiers." Dino is preparing to create his own Gestapo shock troops starting Jan. 1, saying he would propose the creation of "special groups to combat terrorism and irresponsible weaponry. The rule of law is not compatible with these political militias." Dino said arrangements for Lula's inauguration would be "re-evaluated, with a view to tightening security." Convicted criminal Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva has announced he would use the corrupt Federal Police to secure his inauguration, since he does not trust the pro-Bolsonaro Army.
