What year is it?

In the movie The Matrix, in one of the episodes, Neo asked Morpheus.
What year is it now? And Morpheus replied to Neo that no one knows
exactly what year it is. The truth is, we really don't know what year
it is or in what timeline we are all on. According to modern mythology,
it is now 2021. The countdown starts from the moment of the birth
of the mythical character Jesus. The birthday of which was calculated
by indirect signs of the New Testament. But is it really 2021 now?
And was there a time before our era?
According to the Byzantine calendar, it is now 7530 from the creation
of the world. Eastern Romans believed that the world was created in
5509 BC. How they found out and why so recently is a mystery.
According to the Hebrew calendar, it is now 5781. The counting of
time also comes from the creation of the world. According to the
Buddhist calendar, it is now 2564 since the Buddha left for nirvana.
In short, from the date of his death. The year is 2078 on the Indian
calendar. The time count is from the beginning of the reign of the
Indian king Vikram. According to the Islamic calendar, it is now
1442. Exactly so many years have passed since Muhammad moved to
live from Mecca to Medina. According to the Zoroastrian calendar,
the year is 3759 since the birth of the prophet Zarathustra. 
The Mayan calendar ended in the year 3114, which is 2012 according
to our Gregorian calendar. And after the new countdown began. Now

Thus, we must admit that we humans live in different time periods.
The scariest part of all this is that human civilization has no real
actual timeline. In other words, we really don't know what year it
is and where to start counting. Because the dating system itself is
based on extravagant semi-mythical inferences and conventions. In fact,
we do not know how old our civilization is and in what timeline it actually
exists. So what year is it?
