       It's that time of year to slow down and take a look at my stuff.  
       What kind of stuff, you might ask.  Well, it's my personal computing 
       stuff and all of the stuff that goes along with it.  I will be 
       busy reviewing the past year and taking inventory of my daily 
       personal computing needs.  I will also be looking into the archiving 
       of the current year's data, sneakernet runs to the air-gapped vault 
       construct, the maintenance of the hardware, software, and workflow of 
       the stuff.  What works, what does not work, what needs to change, 
       what needs to stay the same, etc.  I usually try to wrap up the year 
       doing this type of stuff, like others probably do.

       There are too many local devices and services that I sync with on my 
       network.  It is causing me much confusion, so I think it is an 
       opportune time of the year to clean up/remap/purge all of the sync-age 
       before it gets too unmanageable, as well as update my diagrams so I 
       know where it's at.

       The lab is in such disarray!  I have equipment and cables all over 
       the place and everything is cluttered.  I need to tell myself that it 
       needs to be this way temporarily so I can organize things properly 
       and find the right homes for this stuff.  I think I need to put 
       things in a staging area, sort through stuff, and move things back 
       piecemeal.
