       My son turned 18 this past week and to celebrate, he wants to 
       experience a casino so we got the gang together and are doing a 
       turn-around for the day.  Everybody is excited to go, especially 
       since some has not been since pre-pandemic.  Hopefully, Lady Luck
       will be kind to him.
       
       I finished my first two weeks of work on Friday.  It is a relief to 
       be employed again.  My job is mostly remote and in front of a
       computer.  I had to pick up my equipment last week and have been 
       spending a bit of time getting my work-battlestation situated.  
       
       The team I'm on seems like a nice team.  I would have preferred to 
       spend some time with the team in meatspace before going remote, but
       the world has moved on.  I think I will need to make an extra effort
       at connecting with people so I do not become island.
       
       Last month was February Album Writing Month (fawm), but I could not
       really get into it.  My mind was focussed on re-joining the 
       workforce and not so much on making music.   Last year was my first
       year at participating in fawm and I wrote 3 songs.  This year, I 
       only wrote 1 song.[1]  Prior to that, no songs.  Although I do enjoy
       attempting to write music, I'm not so fond of having having a 
       deadline or a quantity goal right now.  I just want to try writing
       at my leisure and just have fun with it.  Maybe if try writing 
       music more often throughout the year, February won't seem so
       challenging to me.
